Join us for this three-week class and learn to sew the stylish "Bestie" Bag by Blackbird Fabrics. This class is ideal for complete beginners or anyone who wants a sewing refresher (Must be 16+)! If you’ve been curious about sewing but don’t want to commit to making your own clothes just yet, this is a fantastic way to dive in with a fun and functional project.

What to Expect: Each week, we’ll guide you through the process of making your own "Bestie" Bag from start to finish. You'll begin with a full demonstration of how to set up and use a sewing machine, including threading, winding a bobbin, and mastering the basics like straight sewing and reversing. After the demo, you’ll have time to practice on scrap fabric before diving into your actual project.
You’ll be working with indigo denim for your bag, a sturdy and stylish fabric that’s perfect for this accessory.
If you finish your "Bestie Bag" early, feel free to bring along another project to work on!
