"Ameliya disappears is the adventure of a little girl who lives with her grandmother and cousins in the Caribbean. Ameliya's grandmother, Grandma Myrna, is a famous Palm Reader who reads strangers palms as her occupation. Grandma Myrna uses oils and herbs to bring her clients good luck.
Ameliya is often embarrassed by the smell of the oils her grandmother rubs on her, more so when she has to sit for her examinations. Her classmates tease her relentlessly and even make an unpleasant name they think befitting of her. Ameliya is further ashamed by the name-calling and frequently wishes she could disappear.
But then, one day, Ameliya accidentally stumbles upon her grandmothers'd age old family secret. Thus begins her adventure which leads her into many troubles. Can things ever return to what they were before?"
